About the position
Our client, a leading producer, packer and exporter of premium citrus fruit based in the Citrusdal Valley, Western Cape is seeking an experienced Primary Health Care Nurse to oversee and manage our on-site health centre and wellness initiatives.
The Health Care Nurse will attend to patients (our employees and community members) and manage our on-site health centre. The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical skills with the ability to run and coordinate all aspects of a busy clinic.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Primary Health Care services to employees and community members
- Manage daily clinic operations, staff, and administration
- Play a supportive/overseeing role for the Occupational Health service provider
- Promote preventative health and wellness through education and screenings
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records and reporting
- Manage clinic budgets and contribute to continuous improvement. Primary Healthcare qualification
Requirements
- Registered healthcare practitioner
- Minimum 5 years' experience in community or rural health, plus leadership experience
- Dispensing qualification will be advantageous
- Good understanding of occupational health will be advantageous
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Empathetic, professional, and passionate about community health
