About the position
Our client within the materials handling space is seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join their Durban office. Candidates are required to have a technical qualification, as well as a completed matric certificate. At least 5 years of proven experience within a similar role is required, as well as management experience. Must have own vehicle.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Manage and drive sales.
- Ensure that targets are reached.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the branch team.
- Manage working capital of the branch.
- Management of stock and parts.
- Works well under pressure.
- Reviewing reports and implementing corrective action in the workshop.
- Applying technical knowledge in the workplace and with clientel.
