About the position

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated, versatile, and people-driven individual to join our team as an Operations & Client Liaison Coordinator. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that sits at the intersection of client relationship management, field operations, and internal coordination. The successful candidate will be the connective tissue between our clients, our sites, and our internal team - someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership and is equally comfortable handling strategic tasks and rolling up their sleeves for whatever needs to be done.

This is not a desk-bound role. You will be on the move across KZN - and potentially nationally - visiting clients and sites, representing the company with professionalism and energy, and reporting back clearly to your team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client & Site Engagement

  • Conduct regular visits to multiple client sites across KZN and as required, nationally
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients at all levels
  • Act as a visible, credible, and personable representative of the company in all client interactions
  • Identify client needs, relay feedback accurately to the team and follow through on commitments

Task Tracking & CRM Management

  • Maintain the company CRM system with accurate, up-to-date records after every client interaction
  • Log tasks, actions, and follow-ups diligently and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Track open items to completion and escalate proactively when timelines are at risk
  • Generate clear, concise status updates for management as required

Internal Coordination & Communication

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members both verbally and in writing
  • Assist in briefing colleagues on client requirements, site feedback, and outstanding actions
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute solutions, not just problems
  • Serve as a dependable bridge between field activity and internal operations

General Operations Support

  • Be willing and able to assist with tasks both large and small - no task is beneath this role
  • Step in wherever needed to support the broader team, even where duties fall outside the formal job description
  • Approach high-pressure situations with composure, practicality, and a solutions-first mindset
  • Use company tools and technology competently to manage workflow, communication, and reporting

CANDIDATE PROFILE - WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential Attributes

  • A natural people person - warm, confident, and genuinely enjoys building relationships
  • Highly presentable with a polished professional manner in person, on the phone and in writing
  • Energetic, self-starting and motivated without requiring constant supervision
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously - calmly and methodically
  • Flexible and adaptable: willing to pivot between high-level tasks and ground-level support without hesitation
  • Accountable: you do what you say you will do, when you say you will do it
  • Valid South African driver's licence and own reliable vehicle - essential for this role

Skills & Competencies

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms quickly - not a specialist, but proficient and unafraid of technology
  • Proven ability to maintain CRM or task-management systems accurately and consistently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - clear, concise and professional
  • Solid task-tracking and follow-up discipline: nothing gets lost or forgotten
  • Good with logistics and self-management when working across multiple sites
  • Comfortable with regular travel across KZN; willingness to travel nationally when required

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 2-5 years of working experience in a client-facing, operational or coordination role
  • Early-to-mid career professional seeking a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
  • Experience in field-based or multi-site roles is a strong advantage
  • Exposure to CRM platforms (any system - e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar) is advantageous
  • A tertiary qualification is beneficial but not a strict requirement - demonstrable experience and attitude count

***Salary - R20,000.00 + Fuel Allowance + Cell Phone Allowance (Negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
