In this role, you will:
- Deploy advanced tools and technologies to gather and analyse open-source and blockchain data.
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports, assessments, and forecasts for domestic and international partners.
- Lead technical initiatives, guide team members, and deliver briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements when collecting and processing open-source information.
- Develop SOPs, maintain specialised equipment, perform quality assurance, and support counter-surveillance measures.
What you bring:
- A degree in Computer or Digital Forensics (postgraduate studies an advantage).
- Six years' experience in cybercrime or cybersecurity investigations, plus extensive knowledge of OSINT and the intelligence lifecycle.
- Strong blockchain, Ethereum, Java or Python expertise, and familiarity with cyber threats and defence techniques.
- Experience with tools such as i2 Analyst Notebook, Maltego or TRM Labs (certifications a bonus).
- Advanced Linux-based OSINT deployment skills and a solid understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP, IMAP, SSH, HTTPS, SSL and related protocols.
- Ability to interpret complex organisational behaviours - from financial entities to criminal networks - and turn data into actionable intelligence.
- Leadership, project management capability, and a talent for delivering precise, timely assessments.
- Foreign language skills are an added advantage.
