About the position
Our client, a premier clinic based in Sandton, Johannesburg North is looking for a Registered Nurse.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Professional Nurse. Experience with IV infusion and / or peptide therapies will secure. This role is suited to a clinically strong candidate who is passionate about preventative health, longevity medicine, and delivering a refined, high-level patient experience.
The successful candidate will administer advanced IV nutrient and peptide therapies, support personalised treatment plans, and play a key role in delivering integrative, functional medicine services in a multidisciplinary, clinical environment.
Core Responsibilities
Work closely with doctors and wellness practitioners within a multidisciplinary team
Contribute to a positive, discreet, and high-performance clinic culture.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including lifestyle, wellness goals, and clinical history.
Perform skilled venepuncture and establish/maintain vascular access.
Safely administer IV infusions (vitamins, micronutrients, medications) and peptide therapies.
Assist practitioners in implementing personalised, data-driven treatment protocols by assisting with preparation and administration of peptide therapies in line with functional medicine principles and protocols.
Monitor patients throughout treatment protocols, ensuring safety and comfort while tracking progress and optimal outcomes.
Identify and manage infusion-related complications promptly and effectively according to local clinical guidelines and updating in-house medical practitioner(s) on important clinical indicators.
Maintain a strong understanding of integrative health approaches, supplementation, and longevity therapies.
Deliver high-quality, clinical services with professionalism and warmth, and create a calm, welcoming clinical environment.
Build trusted, long-term relationships with patients.
Clinical Governance & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with SANC regulations, ethical frameworks, and clinical best practice.
Maintain meticulous and contemporaneous patient records.
Adhere to strict infection control, as well as health and safety protocols.
Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Maintain and manage infusion equipment and clinical supplies to the highest standards.
Ensure treatment rooms are consistently prepared to acceptable clinical standards.
Support efficient patient flow while preserving a relaxed, unhurried environment.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Experience in IV therapy and infusion-based treatments is an advantage.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification would be advantageous.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a private clinic/ private hospital environment with understanding of patient experience in a premium or private healthcare setting.
Experience in a wellness clinic, aesthetic, or functional medicine environment.
Strong proficiency in:
Peripheral IV cannulation
Venepuncture
Infusion pump management
Exposure to peptide therapy, regenerative medicine, or integrative healthwould be advantageous.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 17:30
Saturdays: 08:00 – 16:00
