About the position
Tier 2 Network Engineer with a background in managed services, skilled in integrating and problem-solving in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Cisco Internetworking, VPNs, and firewalls.
Please note this is not a hybrid working role. International working hours: 9.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of network experience, 2 in a tier 2/ level 2 capacity
- CCNA / CCDA / CCNP (CISCO Certified)
- MCITP / MCP Certified
- Microsoft 365 Technologies (Modern Workplace)
- Microsoft Azure (Storage and Compute) Distinct advantageous
- Firewall management and implementation (Fortinet NSE 3 Network Security Associate)
- Experience with Hyper-V / VMware
- VPNs (IPsec/SSL), VLANs, routing, switching, firewall policies
- VOIP/SIP knowledge (PBX setups, cloud-hosted systems)
- Drivers license and own transport
Key Performance Areas:
- Support complex environments across networking, servers, and cloud
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Exchange (on-prem & hybrid)
- Manage and monitor firewall rules, VPNs, routing, and switching
- Deploy and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, and backup systems
- Assist with virtualisation and high-availability infrastructure
- Work with VOIP/PBX systems (on-prem and cloud-hosted)
- Provide client-facing support and execute projects end-to-end
- Document all tasks and resolutions in service tickets
- Escalate critical risks and manage client expectations effectively
- Contribute to continual upskilling and knowledge sharing within the team
