About the position
Network Engineer with 1.5–2 years of experience to join our IT infrastructure team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure seamless connectivity and security across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks.
· Support installation and maintenance of network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
· Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide timely resolutions.
· Ensure network security by applying best practices, updates, and patches.
· Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for network-related incidents.
· Assist in network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration records.
· Coordinate with vendors and service providers for network-related issues.
· Participate in implementation of new network solutions and upgrades.
· Support IT team in day-to-day tasks related to infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 1.5–2 years of hands-on experience in networking roles.
· Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
· Basic experience with Cisco or similar networking equipment.
· Familiarity with firewalls and network security principles.
· Knowledge of network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios).
· Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
· CCNA / CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification.
· Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
· Knowledge of VoIP systems (e.g., 3CX, Cisco Call Manager
