The Role: National Sales Manager
This role exists to lead and scale a national sales organisation, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive revenue growth and market expansion. The National Sales Manager will set and execute the national sales strategy, build strong regional leadership capability, and ensure consistent performance across all regions. The role combines strategic thinking, people leadership, and operational discipline to deliver results at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • 5-8+ years of senior sales leadership experience, leading and executing a national sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Build, lead, and performance-manage regional sales leaders and their teams across South Africa
  • Use market insights, data analytics, and performance trends to inform strategic sales decisions
  • Establish a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement
  • Build engaged, motivated, and resilient sales teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Drive collaboration and alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and product teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders
  • Oversee national sales rhythms, KPIs, forecasting, reporting, and budget alignment

About You

  • 5-8+ years of senior sales leadership experience at the national or regional level
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong strategic capability with experience designing and executing national sales strategies
  • Experience in real estate, digital platforms, online marketplaces, or classifieds is advantageous
  • High emotional intelligence with a genuine passion for people development and leadership
  • Strong business acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Highly organised, disciplined, and administratively strong
  • Tech-savvy, with solid proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally
