Migration Specialist - Contract Position until Dec 2025

Join our client in the mining industry team as a Data Migration Specialist, where you'll lead the charge in moving complex data sets between platforms with precision, speed, and zero downtime.

Specific Qualifications: - +5 Years experience
- Collaborate with the Senior Technical Lead to plan and execute migration activities.
- Support the selection and use of appropriate migration tools based on source and destination platforms.
- Prepare and validate source data for migration, ensuring integrity and compliance.
- Monitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Document migration processes,configurations, and outcomes.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and gather requirements.
- Assist with post-migration validation and user support
Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably involving Box and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with Microsoft OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Understanding of migration tools such as Mover.io, ShareGate, Quest, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
