About the position
As a Microsoft Power Platform Expert, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions that drive business efficiency and empower users to create, analyze, and automate critical processes.
Leveraging the full capabilities of the Power Platform—including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents—you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify areas for process improvement, and deliver impactful, user-centric solutions. This role demands deep technical expertise across the Power Platform, as well as a strategic mindset to align technology with business goals.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Power Apps Development: Build user-friendly, responsive, and feature-rich Power Apps applications to address various business needs, such as data entry, approval workflows, and mobile applications.
- Power Automate (Flow) Development: Design and create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes, improve productivity, and enhance data integration between different systems.
- Power BI Reporting and Analytics: Develop interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Integration with Microsoft 365 and other Systems: Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) and other external systems to create seamless user experiences.
- Data Transformation and Modelling: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power Platform applications and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Security and Governance: Implement security best practices and data governance policies to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on how to effectively use Power Platform solutions, troubleshoot issues, and assist with adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest features and capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform and proactively recommend enhancements to existing solutions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
Experience:
- Experience in custom connector development for Power Automate.
- Knowledge of Azure services and their integration with Power Platform.
- Previous experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
- Proven experience (6 years) in designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
- Proficiency in Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and other Power BI data modelling and transformation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and their integration with Power Platform.
- Experience with data integration, API connections, and working with RESTful [URL Removed] with AI and natural language processing concepts for chatbot development (Power Virtual Agents).
