MEDICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVES
Gauteng | Western Cape | KwaZulu-Natal

Charisma Healthcare Solutions is recruiting on behalf of some of our top healthcare and MedTech clients.
We are seeking ambitious, results-driven, and clinically minded Medical Sales Representatives to join leading healthcare and medical technology organisations across Gauteng, Western Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced healthcare sales professionals who are passionate about medical technology, relationship management, and improving patient outcomes through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell specialised medical technology products and solutions to:
  • Hospitals
  • Specialists
  • Surgeons
  • Theatre Management
  • Procurement teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders
  • Drive territory growth and achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training
  • Provide clinical and technical support within theatre and hospital environments where required
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic account plans
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting, pipeline management, and CRM updates
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and product developments
  • Represent the company professionally at conferences, workshops, and industry events

Minimum Requirements
Experience

  • 3-5 years' proven medical sales experience
  • Experience within:
  • Medical devices
  • MedTech
  • Surgical/theatre environments
  • Hospital sales
  • Clinical support roles
  • Existing relationships within the healthcare sector will be advantageous

Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in one of the following:

  • Marketing
  • Medical Sciences
  • Biokinetics
  • Nursing
  • Human Physiology
  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Health Sciences
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Or related healthcare/clinical disciplines

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
  • Professional engagement with surgeons and clinical teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively
  • High levels of resilience, accountability, and initiative
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle

  • Theatre/surgical support exposure
  • Experience working with specialists and private hospital groups
  • Clinical aptitude with the ability to understand technical products
  • Strong business development capability
