1. Purpose of the job
The Master Data Administrator is responsible for performing clerical duties to support the creation and maintenance
of master data in the organization's ERP system. This role involves working closely with other departments to ensure
that all master data is created and maintained accurately and efficiently, and that data is consistent across all
systems.
2. Key Responsibilities
? Assist in the creation and maintenance of master data records, including Material, Vendor, and Customer data
? Ensure that all master data records are accurate, complete, and consistent across all systems
? Input and update data in the organization's ERP system, ensuring that all information is entered accurately and
in a timely manner
? Monitor and manage data quality, identifying and correcting errors and inconsistencies
? Perform routine data maintenance tasks, such as archiving and purging of obsolete data
? Support the data management team in data-related projects and initiatives
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures
3. Job Requirements
3.1. Education
High school diploma (matric) or equivalent required
3.2. Experience
? Experience in clerical or administrative roles preferred
? Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data
? Basic understanding of data management principles and concepts
? Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel or similar software
? Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
