About the position
Marketing Manager Marketing shouldn't just support growth. It should drive it. Is this you? What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) Where you'll be doing it What you'll need What you'll get How to apply
Paarl, Western Cape
Market related
You take pride in producing work of an exceptionally high standard and thrive when given ownership rather than constant direction. Naturally proactive and commercially minded, you enjoy balancing creativity with execution and can confidently manage multiple projects without losing sight of the detail. Rather than relying on a large team, you prefer rolling up your sleeves, taking accountability and seeing initiatives through from concept to completion.
This is a broad, hands-on marketing role where you'll shape and execute marketing strategy across multiple business units. From managing content calendars, social media, websites and video content to coordinating events, media opportunities and client engagement initiatives, you'll have genuine influence over the marketing function. You'll also create presentations, factsheets and client-facing collateral while ensuring brand consistency throughout. You'll enjoy this role because no two days will look the same, and you'll have the freedom to make a visible impact as the business continues to grow and evolve.
You'll join a growing financial services group with interests spanning investment management, wealth solutions and advisory services. The organisation has ambitious growth plans and a strong entrepreneurial culture where initiative is valued, ideas are welcomed and high-quality work is recognised. Marketing is becoming a strategic focus area, creating significant opportunity for career growth and increased responsibility over time. You'll be fully office based in Paarl, working hours are 08:30-17:30.
A relevant tertiary qualification and 3-5 years of hands-on marketing experience will set you up for success. Strong copywriting, content marketing, social media management, presentation design, event coordination and CRM experience are essential. Exposure to financial services, asset management, insurance or professional services will be advantageous, along with experience managing multiple brands and projects simultaneously. Confidence with Canva, PowerPoint and digital marketing tools is important.
In return, you'll receive a competitive salary, exposure to a dynamic and expanding business group and the opportunity to build and shape an in-house marketing function. You'll enjoy meaningful autonomy, direct access to senior decision-makers and genuine opportunities for progression as the organisation grows.
