Manager: Corporate Strategy & Business Planning

Centurion, Gauteng | Permanent | Competitive Total Cost to Company

Our client, a leading specialist state-owned financial institution, is looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for shaping the future. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to drive corporate strategy and business planning at a national level, directly influencing the organisation's corporate plan submitted to National Treasury.

As Manager: Corporate Strategy & Business Planning, you will:

  • Lead the development of the institution's annual Corporate Plan, setting strategic priorities for the year ahead.
  • Collaborate with senior managers to integrate insights, innovation, and alignment across business units.
  • Play a key role in compiling the Integrated Annual Report and quarterly submissions to National Treasury.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on strategy execution, ensuring performance against commitments.

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in Business Management, Economics, Financial Management, or related field.
  • 4-5 years' proven experience in corporate strategy development, planning, and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, and presentation skills.
  • A track record of driving strategic planning processes in large, complex organisations (public sector/financial institutions advantageous).
