Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining Planned Maintenance Schedules.
- Shopware System Administrator.
- Planning of daily, weekly, monthly and weekend work with Plant Engineer for maintenance team.
- Assisting with the formulation of a new procedures and updating procedures in line with engineering work (FSC 22000 Compliance).
- Planning and scheduling of all job cards in collaboration with all requests from production and technical.
- Training internal stake holders on the CMMS, Shopware
- Updating and reviewing planned maintenance schedules on a quarterly basis
- Optimizing planned maintenance schedules through monitoring reliability trends on CMMS, Shopware
- Capturing inputs on Shopware for daily, weekly and monthly work.
- Preparing summarized reports and data trends (daily, weekly, monthly) for informed decision making
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Plant Engineer, and all other duties as assigned.
- Liaising and updating Central Stores on the requirements of critical spares & availability thereof
- Ensuring the asset register is updated and aligned with company policy
- General administration of team working hours, overtime, leaves etc.
- Conducting regular meetings with department staff, to ensure that planned maintenance schedules/ uptime/statutory targets are being met
- Forecasting on maintenance budget, spares requirements and artisan utilisation.
- Report on machine availability and maintenance cost evaluation.
- Preparation of Audits by internal, external stakeholders, e.g. IBL, FSC 22000.
- Ensure that all the manual, drawing, service record, job cards, of all the equipment are being stored and readily available.
- Monitor artisans' work performance.
- Participating in and facilitating the development of maintenance plans for plant and machinery
- Optimizing maintenance plants and execution thereof
- Ensuring deviations in terms of Health, Safety, and hygiene procedures are reported and addressed
- Participate and support Company's food safety and quality objectives.
- Report all problems with regards to Food Safety to the QA Manager who will initiate and records actions.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Senior Certificate with a mechanical engineering qualification, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 - 5 Years experience in the manufacturing industry in a similar role
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance system
- Shopware experienced will be an added advantage
- Prior knowledge of Scheduled, predictive and preventative maintenance.
- Administrative Skills.
- MS Office.
- Willing to work weekends and Public Holidays when required.
