About the Opportunity

We are looking for an Intermediate MLOps / Platform Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, reliable infrastructure and operational platforms that support modern machine learning environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engineering robust systems, automating deployments, and improving platform reliability rather than focusing on machine learning research. You will play a key role in enabling Data Science teams to deploy and maintain production-ready solutions efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, operationalise, and support machine learning models and analytical applications in production environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Harness
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment management using Terraform
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-native solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Work extensively with technologies such as Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and BigQuery
• Develop clean, maintainable code aligned to SOLID engineering principles
• Build and maintain internal tooling to support Data Science and platform operations
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure high system reliability and uptime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment efficiency and operational excellence

Requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

Experience

2-4 years' experience in Software Engineering, MLOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud InfrastructureStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly:Vertex AIBigQueryCloud RunPractical experience with:GitLab CI/CDHarnessTerraformStrong Python development skillsSolid SQL skills for data extraction and manipulationExperience supporting production-grade cloud applications and deploymentsKey Skills & Competencies
