Trade Mark Prosecution Secretary for upmarket team Join a leading legal team and make your mark in the world of trade marks! We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Secretarial/Assistant to support our Trade Mark Prosecution team. The role involves providing day-to-day administrative assistance to the principal and team, managing the end-to-end prosecution and maintenance of South African and foreign trade marks, capturing and verifying trade mark data on the Patricia database, assisting with the onboarding of trade mark portfolios, drafting correspondence and official forms, and maintaining an efficient filing and administration system. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' trade mark secretarial experience (including both local and foreign prosecution), be proficient in data capturing and verification, and have essential experience working with the Patricia database. Strong computer literacy (Word, Outlook, Excel), exceptional attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication in English, and the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality are key. A Matric Certificate is required, and a secretarial qualification or diploma is preferred.
