About the position
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships within the eco-friendly cleaning and hygiene solutions sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction across key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts in various industries such as healthcare, hospitality, agriculture, and facilities management.
- Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and expand the client portfolio.
- Develop strategic account plans and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams including technical, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Deliver effective after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to provide insights and recommendations.
- Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and sales documentation.
- Resolve client issues efficiently while maintaining long-term relationships.
Requirements:
- experience in key account management or business development, preferably within the cleaning, chemical, or hygiene sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical product specifications and translate them into client benefits.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Environmental Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday - 08h00 to 16h30.
Fridays - 08h00 to 15h00.
Commission Structure:
Manage an established base of existing clients with the benefit of consistent and reliable commission income.
- Guaranteed consistency through an established client base.
- 15% commission on all Ready-To-Use products.
- 5% commission on Concentrates supplied to other manufacturers.
Salary:
R18,000.00 CTC
All business petrol is covered
(Negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
