About the position
Role Summary
Location: KZN
An exciting opportunity is available for a Key Accounts Manager to oversee and expand business within schools and tertiary institutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, promoting educational product ranges, and driving revenue growth across Government, Private, and Self-Funding Institutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Qualification in Sales, Marketing, or related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in sales or account management
- Previous exposure to the education sector beneficial
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
Main Duties
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions
- Source and develop new business opportunities
- Present and promote products to existing and prospective clients
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions
- Drive monthly sales performance and market growth
- Support promotional campaigns and institution events
- Monitor customer needs and provide suitable solutions
- Manage client communication, reporting, and account activities
- Identify opportunities to increase product exposure and sales
- Ensure excellent customer service and ongoing account support
