Well established company in JHB North seeks an E-Commerce Key Account Manager to join their growing team
Role Overview
Growing and managing the organisations e-commerce business and key online retail relationships (such as Amazon and Takealot), while ensuring profitable sales, strong brand presence, and excellent customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Valid drivers license and own transport
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role preferably with exposure to fmcg / personal care products
Duties will include:
- Own and grow e-commerce key accounts by driving net revenue, managing margins, and delivering annual customer and commercial plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with online retailers, understanding their needs and ensuring the organisation remains a preferred partner
- Manage full account profitability, including P&L responsibility, pricing, promotions, and trade spend
- Plan, execute, and review promotions, ensuring accurate deal setup, stock availability, artwork execution, and post-promotion analysis
- Monitor daily sales, orders, margins, credits, service levels, and stock flow to ensure targets and budgets are met
- Oversee order processing and warehouse flow, resolving bottlenecks, shortages, cancellations, or service issues quickly
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution and problem resolution
- Manage third-party sales and merchandising partners to ensure correct execution where applicable
- Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and performance updates using key account metrics and tools
- Identify and develop new growth opportunities within existing and new e-commerce customers
- Conduct store and platform reviews, sharing insights and recommendations to improve sell-through and performance
