Junior Support Analyst

About the position

A fast-growing South African fintech company is seeking a Junior Credit Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will support the credit team by analysing customer applications, assessing financial information, identifying risks, and contributing to data-driven credit decisions.

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years' experience in credit analysis, SME/business lending, auditing, management consulting, or a related finance environment
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to identify trends, risks, and anomalies
