Junior Quantity Surveyor

About the position

Qualifications & Experience

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related qualification ( preferably UCT graduate)
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in a quantity surveying role, within the office of Quantity Surveyors.
  • A basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of quantity surveying software (e.g.,Dim X WinQS) is a plus.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
• Licences/Certifications: A valid driver's license is essential for site visits.
