Junior Interior Designer at TDC&Co

About the position

We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate should be an individual who prides themselves on their ability to produce creative and innovative work. The role offers the opportunity to design and develop content in a wide variety of mediums.

Key Responsibilities

• Support lead designer and the design team on various tasks
• Assist with developing and exploring design concepts
• Prepare 3D models (in SketchUp) as briefed by Lead Designer
• Assist with detailed shopfitting drawings with support of lead designer or detail technician
• Assist with finishes selection under guidance of Lead Designer
• Prepare specification schedule

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant Diploma in fields related to Interior Design from a recognised institution
• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an interior design position
• A good portfolio of past design and creative projects
• Proficiency in SketchUp and Revit is highly desirable.

• Up to date knowledge of current design trends

This position is based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town.
