About the position
Job & Company Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Factory Engineer at a leading manufacturing site in Nelspruit. We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled individual to join a dynamic production environment and grow their career in engineering.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Assist with fault-finding and machine breakdowns.
- Support project and installation work.
- Maintain housekeeping and ensure adherence to health & safety standards.
- Comply with ISO 9001/2000, ISO 14001, and NOSA systems.
- Take proactive preventative and corrective actions when required.
- Analyse data, interpret technical drawings, and propose improvements.
- Collaborate effectively within a team in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Minimum Requirements & Experience
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential).
- BEng/Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Reliability, Maintenance, and CMMS-related qualifications
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
- Technical proficiency in:
- CAD software (Computer-Aided Design).
- Manufacturing processes.
- Industry-related machinery and equipment.
Skills Required
- Computer literacy (essential).
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physically fit.
