About the position
DBN000144: JUNIOR CIVIL MODELLER – PRETORIA
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Modeller to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will support senior engineers and designers by producing accurate 2D and 3D models for a variety of civil infrastructure projects,
Purpose of the job:
You will support senior engineers and designers by producing accurate 2D and 3D models for a variety of civil infrastructure projects,
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Draughting, or a related field
- Certification in CAD software AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Additional training in structural modelling or construction design is a plus
Technical Competencies & Experience:
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards for civil infrastructure
- Experience with 3D scanning tools and integrating scan data into CAD software (optional but valuable)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- 2 + years of experience in a civil engineering or construction modelling environment is preferred
