About the position

Job Purpose
Ensure that office automation, computer systems and networks is installed correctly are working optimally, provide technical support to end users and contribute to the effective and secure use of technology.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A+ and N+ accreditation
  • Experience in providing technical support, troubleshooting computer systems, installation of printers and working with networks.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Setup hardware and software of office automation equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are important in this role.
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware and software resources.
  • Install workstations and laptops with required software.
  • Setup and maintain inhouse and customers IT infrastructure.
  • Remote support


Skills and Attributes

  • 2 Years+ experience in installation, and maintenance, of Connectivity and Networking Solutions, have a very good understanding of networking.
  • Knowledge in office automation equipment.
  • Advanced fault-finding skills.
  • Knowledge servers and networks.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication.
  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.


Other Assignments

  • Knowledge of PBX and CCTV will be an advantage.
