About the position
The IT Support Engineer / Administrator / Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Manager of Systems and Support and the IT team. This role includes managing and reporting on tickets, due diligences and audits, evidence gathering, project administration, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and excels in administrative tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ticket Management:
- Monitor and manage the Helpdesk ticketing system.
- Ensure tickets are appropriately assigned and resolved in a timely manner.
- Generate and analyze reports on ticket status and support activities.
Due Diligence and Audits:
- Assist in conducting due diligence and audits of IT systems and processes.
- Gather and organize evidence for audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and data protection regulations.
Project Administration and Support:
- Provide administrative support for IT projects and initiatives.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Document project progress and maintain project records.
Policies and Procedures:
- Ensure IT policies and procedures are up-to-date and properly documented.
- Assist in developing and implementing new policies and procedures.
- Communicate policies and procedures to IT staff and end-users.
Processes and Reporting:
- Establish and maintain processes for IT system management and support.
- Generate regular reports on system performance, support activities, and compliance status.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Manager of Systems and Support.
Technical Support:
- Provide support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist IT Engineers with troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
- Conduct user training sessions and provide technical guidance.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related administrative role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 suite and related technologies.
- Experience in managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and network services.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Microsoft 365 certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
