You'll take charge of the investment administrative processes supporting client portfolio management. This includes preparing and coordinating key FAIS and FICA documents, maintaining comprehensive records, liaising with clients and institutions, placing and following up on transactions, and ensuring all instructions are carried out accurately. You'll also handle client queries, compile tax certificates, and provide vital diary management support to the Wealth Manager, helping ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Our client is a highly profitable, boutique wealth management firm in its growth phase, with over R1 billion in assets under management and plans to expand its team of Wealth Managers. You'll join a small, close-knit team where quality of service and client relationships come first. The working environment is professional yet personable, with an emphasis on long-term stability and shared success. You'll be fully office based in Claremont, Cape Town.
You need to have Matric as a minimum and gained no less than 10 years' experience supporting a Wealth Manager with a strong focus on investments. You'll be confident with Microsoft Word and Excel, have strong numeracy skills, and be highly detail-oriented. You'll bring honesty, discretion, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience with FAIS and FICA processes is essential, as will your ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
