About the position

Our client, a leading Chemical Manufacturing company based in Cape Town, is looking to fill the position of Internal Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Assist with customer queries relating to price, product availability, payment, and delivery issues.
  • Follow through with regards to delivery via logistics and payment of accounts.
  • Attend to walk in customers and assist with queries on products and services available.
  • All documents to be maintained to company standards.
  • Assist with perpetual and quarterly stock counts.

Environmental Health & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all OHS requirements.
  • Maintain the work area in an appropriate condition.

Competencies:

  • Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, commitment, flexibility, positive attitude, teamwork, customer focus.
  • Knowledge of internal sales procedures, products, and customers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate
  • Relevant Sales and Administration qualification
  • A minimum of 2 years in general branch administration and internal sales (telesales and counter sales)
