Internal Sales Consultant

About the position

Our client is looking for an internal sales consultant to join their team. A waste management company, whose sole focus is moving towards zero waste to landfill. Their vision is a future in which resources will continuously be reused and there will be no net effect on the environment.
Someone who is spot on with excel and fast learner in terms of CRM programs. Sales consultant that's bubbly, self-driven to succeed and willing to grow with the business.
Location: Cape Town

Requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales or related position.
• Relevant tertiary credentials.
• Clear Criminal Record.
• Drivers licence and own Vehicle.

Main objectives of an Internal Sales Consultant:

• To assist the region by managing an agreed upon portfolio.
• To report incoming leads to Depot Manager or Cape Sales Manager and to quote clients accordingly.
• To manage all tenders from start to finish.
• To be a proud representative of the company and seek out and report any opportunities to management.
• To act as the conduit between the client, yourself as well as operations by making bookings for services.
• To ensure effective management of commodities
• To visit the market every quarter by way of obtaining updated commodity rates. These findings to be presented to Depot Manager every quarter.
• To follow up on customer queries daily.
•  Identify opportunities to increase the gross revenue of the business.
• Assist with day-to-day requests for SHE Files, Presentations, House accounts.
