About the position
We are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET and Flutter.
The successful consultant will contribute across mobile and backend development, working on production applications and supporting integration between mobile, backend, database and cloud services.
This is a hands-on delivery role requiring a developer who can take responsibility for assigned features and work independently without close day-to-day supervision. Approximately five years of commercial software development experience is expected, including at least two to three years working with a meaningful level of independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Mobile and Full Stack Development
- Design, develop, test and maintain reliable, scalable applications
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter
- Build and enhance backend services using C# and .NET
- Develop, consume and integrate REST APIs and web services
- Support integration between mobile applications, backend services, databases and cloud platforms
- Contribute to the support and modernisation of existing mobile applications
- Investigate and resolve application defects across the development lifecycle
- Produce clean, maintainable and well-structured code
Cloud and Delivery
- Contribute to the development and deployment of applications within Microsoft Azure environments
- Work with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows
- Work within established CI/CD and release processes
- Apply appropriate security, performance and reliability practices
- Support application testing, deployment and production delivery
Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, product owners, quality assurance specialists and other delivery stakeholders
- Participate in Agile planning, refinement, review and delivery activities
- Contribute constructively to technical discussions and peer reviews
- Communicate delivery progress, risks and dependencies clearly
- Take accountability for assigned work through to completion

- Xamarin experience, particularly in legacy mobile application support or modernisation
- Experience modernising or migrating cross-platform mobile applications
- Angular
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification - AZ-900
- Azure App Services and Azure Functions
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Azure SQL or Cosmos DB
- Microservices architecture
- SOAP or legacy service integrations
- IIS-hosted application environments
- Docker or Kubernetes
- Azure Service Bus, Kafka or similar messaging technologies

Qualifications and Experience
- Approximately five years of commercial software development experience
- Demonstrated production delivery experience using Flutter and C#/.NET
- At least two to three years working with a good level of independence
- Experience delivering assigned features or development work through to completion
- Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
