About the position
Our client in the power generation industry is looking for Instrumentation Artisan(s) The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring plant availability and reliability by performing maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting on critical plant equipment. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, proactive fault prevention, and close collaboration with technicians and the client to maintain safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Always ensure plant availability to meet client requirements.
- Assist Technicians as required in daily activities.
- Perform preventative and corrective plant maintenance, including attending to call-outs.
- Calibrate instrumentation equipment such as cylinders and coal feeders.
- Conduct stroke checks on dampers and valves.
- Proactively identify and prevent potential plant breakdowns.
- Provide prompt support to the client within defined scope of work.
Requirements
- Red Seal Instrumentation Trade Test.
- N3 with Instrumentation-related subjects.
- Minimum 5 years Milling Plant Maintenance experience.
- Project is based in Lephalale
