About the position
Position Overview: The Implementation Developer will join the Rapid Response Team (RRT), a specialised team responsible for implementing technical changes and supporting existing document processing applications. This role focuses on move/add/change requests and complex technical adjustments to applications previously delivered by the implementation team. While individual requests are typically small in scope, the underlying systems are often complex, requiring a strong understanding of application architecture, data processing, and document workflows. Developers work closely with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to gather requirements, clarify specifications, and deliver effective solutions. The team operates within a sprint-based environment without traditional project management, requiring individuals to manage their own workload across various ticket stages. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, analytical mindset, and curiosity to deeply understand systems and solve complex problems effectively. Key Responsibilities: Application Maintenance & Enhancement Technical Analysis & Problem Solving Responsive Issue Resolution Sprint Execution & Work Management Testing & Validation Collaboration Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills Experience with document composition / CCM platforms (e.g. Sefas, OpenText Exstream Dialogue, or similar) Professional Skills Working Hours: 10:00am to 19:00pm Please note that this position is fully remote.
Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages
Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
Strong understanding of data processing and multiple data formats, including:XML, CSV, fixed-width, EBCDIC, AFP, PostScript, PDF
Familiarity with Jira or similar ticket/work management systems
