We are an established hydraulics and engineering company in South Africa specializing in the repair, service, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment and components. Position Overview This role is for a tradesman with a minimum of five years of professional experience, who has a strong background in hydraulic systems. You will be instrumental in the manufacturing, repair, and precision turning of a variety of critical hydraulic and engineering components. We are looking for an individual who is driven by quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, someone who takes pride in ensuring every component meets stringent industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Key Responsibilities Perform turning operations on hydraulic components with precision. Manufacture new hydraulic cylinders and other hydraulic components from raw materials. Conduct general turning tasks, including the creation of pins and bushes. Operate milling machines to create and modify parts. Diagnose and resolve issues with hydraulic systems and components. Uphold our high standards for quality control on all work. Required Skills & Experience A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a tradesman. Proven experience with hydraulic systems, including their repair, service, and maintenance. Expertise in hydraulic turning and the manufacturing of hydraulic cylinders. Proficiency in general turning, specifically with pins and bushes. Competence in milling operations. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Compensation The salary for this position is R25,000 - R30,000 per month.
