About the position

CLIENT

Our client is one of the top Medical Aid Administrators, seeking a qualified and dynamic HR Manager - preferably a Registered Industrial Psychologist - to join the Centre of Excellence (COE) Team responsible for enabling business and operations to realise its People Strategies and support them in implementing these strategies.   The COE comprises of three functions namely Strategic Enablement, Human Resources and Learning and Development.   The CLIENT's PeopleVision is to be the best people function globally, focused on placing the best people, developing and retaining them to enable the business vision.

KEY PURPOSE

Create, implement and manage HR solutions across the employee lifecycle to sustain and grow the Business and its staff. This includes bringing transactional HR expertise to the Business and its people as well as integrating people strategies with the business strategy.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Qualification:

Desired:  Registered Industrial Psychologist (or related Masters in HRM level qualification; Minimum:  Undergraduate degree preferably in Industrial Psychology or HRM

Experience:

Desired:  5 - 8 Years experience at HR Business Partner or Management level; with 2 years minimum supervisory or management level experience                                                      Minimum: 3 - 5 Years experience at HRBP or HRM level

Industry related:

Preference to candidates in medical aid administrators, financial services, or fields where candidate has experience working with hi-tech skilled workforce i.e. actuaries, risk managers, clinical specialists, IT specialists, etc.

Competencies

Well-developed interpersonal skills;
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels from staff to CEO;
Strong persuasion skills and credibility;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
The ability to be task- and deadline-driven in a highly pressurized environment;
Excellent organizational & time management skills;
Ability to work independently.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO:  Candidates who closely meet the 'desired' requirements and designated groups aligned to CLIENT's EE goals and targets
