Human Resource Manager
Are you a dynamic, people-centric HR professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment? We're seeking a seasoned Human Resource Manager to lead our people function-driving strategy, culture, compliance, and growth as we expand across markets.
Your Role
As the HR Manager, you'll play a central role in shaping the employee experience and enabling business success. From recruitment and onboarding to performance and culture, you'll partner with leaders to ensure our people feel valued, supported, and aligned with our mission to make the world safer and more connected.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, performance, and offboarding.
- Design and implement HR policies that reflect best practice and comply with local legislation.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Guide and support managers in employee development, performance, and team effectiveness.
- Oversee payroll, leave, compensation, benefits, and HRIS management.
- Ensure labor law compliance, BEE reporting, and policy governance.
- Drive internal communication and employee engagement strategies.
- Use HR data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership on organizational design and workforce planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in a generalist or HR management role, ideally in a tech, services, or scale-up environment.
- Strong knowledge of South African labor legislation and HR compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- People-first mindset with a balance of empathy and structure.
- Experience managing remote or hybrid workforces is a plus.
