You're an experienced investment professional with a passion for investment products and a deep understanding of the asset management landscape. With strong communication skills and a flair for relationship-building, you're ready to lead the charge in expanding market presence. You're also resourceful, proactive, and confident working independently, knowing how to make a meaningful impact.
You'll lead the full distribution function for a global fund management business. From initiating contact and presenting funds to IFA's as well as developing content and posting on social media, to managing media relationships and coordinating presence at investment conferences, you'll shape how the brand is seen by IFAs, DFMs, and clients. You'll handle monthly and quarterly fund updates, drive awareness campaigns, and help position the fund managers as thought leaders. This role is hands-on, autonomous, and ideal for someone who wants to take full ownership of marketing in a niche, high-performance financial services environment.
You'll be joining a globally focused investment management firm based in Cape Town renowned for delivering excellent returns and client service. Their flat structure, entrepreneurial spirit, and global perspective create a collaborative and fast-moving environment where innovation and independent thinking are encouraged. You'll be fully office based and surrounded by investment specialists in professional offices in Constantia.
You'll bring at least 7 years of investment distribution experience gained in the asset management sector, with strong connections in the IFA and DFM community. A BCom or relevant finance degree is essential. You're digitally savvy, highly organised, and comfortable juggling strategic and executional tasks across a variety of marketing and investment channels. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered.
