About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Group Tax Manager to oversee and optimize our group's global tax strategy, compliance, and risk management. This is a senior position that plays a critical role in ensuring the business meets its tax obligations while driving strategic value through effective planning. You will manage all aspects of corporate, indirect, and international taxation for the group, working closely with senior leadership, regional finance teams, and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the group-wide tax function, ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Develop and implement tax strategy aligned with the group's overall business objectives.
- Oversee tax planning to optimize the group's effective tax rate while managing risk and compliance.
- Manage transfer pricing policies and ensure documentation is aligned with OECD and local requirements.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation globally and assess their impact on the group.
- Manage tax audits and relationships with tax authorities.
- Provide advisory support for mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
- Collaborate with internal finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure efficient tax processes and governance
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CTA, CA, CPA, or equivalent highly advantageous).
- 5+ years' tax experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or group-level role.
- Strong knowledge of international tax, corporate tax, and transfer pricing principles.
- Experience in a multinational environment is essential. - Proven ability to manage tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
