Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Designer to join their Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative visionary who can combine artistic flair with strategic thinking to develop visually compelling designs and help shape the company's brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate written and verbal ideas into visually compelling designs that effectively communicate product concepts.
- Develop creative concepts, graphics, layouts, product illustrations, and other visual assets in line with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with management to develop cohesive designs that reflect the company's overall vision.
- Develop layouts and production designs according to product briefs.
- Create visual elements including icons, photographs, typography, and other design components.
- Design packaging, campaigns, product materials, and retail-focused marketing content.
- Review final layouts and recommend improvements to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide creative solutions and design direction to management.
- Maintain effective communication regarding design style, format, and print production.
- Select appropriate colours, images, typography, and layouts to effectively communicate the desired message.
- Prepare rough drafts and present concepts for review.
- Incorporate feedback from management into final designs.
- Keep up to date with the latest design trends and industry developments.
- Attend to ad hoc company design requirements as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Professional portfolio showcasing relevant graphic design experience.
- Relevant experience in a similar fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Excellent IT skills, particularly with design and photo-editing software.
- Strong understanding of packaging design and marketing campaigns, particularly within the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines and visual communication.
- Excellent creativity and innovation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professional approach to managing time, costs, and deadlines.
