Location: West Africa

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and develop our operations across West Africa. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, commercially driven, and capable of managing teams across multiple countries. This role requires a proactive leader with strong business acumen, sales focus, and a “make a plan” attitude.


 
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop teams across different countries.
  • Drive sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee operational activities and ensure successful execution of company strategies.
  • Enforce and follow company policies and procedures while remaining flexible and hands-on.
  • Build a performance-driven and accountable company culture.
  • Manage conflict constructively while encouraging diverse viewpoints.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across the group to learn and adopt best practices.

 Required Attributes

  • Proven management experience – ability to lead, discipline, motivate, and build teams.
  • Experience working in Africa, preferably in multi-country environments.
  • Sales and customer-focused mindset.
  • Positive energy with a “can do / make a plan” attitude.
  • Strong commercial understandingBCom degree preferred.
  • Hands-on approach – willing to get involved, not only delegate.
  • Strong personality: able to confront issues constructively while keeping peace.
  • Self-driven, accountable, target and sales-driven.
  • Hungry for success and motivated by financial incentives.
  • Honesty, integrity and strong ethics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Inquisitive and willing to learn / engage with colleagues across the group.

Industry background advantageous:
Commercial kitchen, bakery, catering, or refrigeration equipment
OR project/technical background

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary $6,000 USD
  • Medical Aid- 50% Company Contribution
  • Living Allowance- $600 per month
  • Accommodation- Provided + House Help (cook, cleaning & laundry)
  • Transport- Company Car + Driver + Fuel
  • Flights- 3 Return Tickets per Annum
