About the position

Our client is looking to fill a General Manager position in Cape Town and are seeking a candidate with solid experience in Transport Management. The ideal candidate should also have:
The purpose of this role is to manage the overall operations of the transport division within the project, ensuring efficient project delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and compliance with engineering standards and contractual obligations. In addition, the General Manager will contribute to company-wide initiatives from a business development perspective and drive strategic outcomes through strong leadership and effective stakeholder engagement.

• A background in engineering
• Project management experience
• Familiarity with IT systems and software
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Experience working with FIDIC contracts
• Engineering Degree (Pr Eng) preferably

At least 10 years experience in a similar role.
