What You'll Be Responsible For
- Investigate and resolve food quality or safety issues (including customer complaints and RTVs)
- Implement corrective and preventative actions to stop issues from recurring
- Drive continuous improvement in hygiene, product integrity, and process compliance
- Oversee non-conformance reporting, document control, and system updates
- Support internal audits, microbiological testing, and GMP practices
- Monitor traceability, raise maintenance issues, and enforce food safety standards
- Collaborate on new product development (NPD) and packaging validations
- Take an active role in the Food Safety and Culture Team
What You'll Need To Succeed
Qualification:
BSc Food Science or Diploma in Food Technology
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of HACCP, ISO, and GMP
- Familiarity with food processing, micro sampling, and QA systems
- Confident using electronic systems and reporting tools
Personal Attributes:
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Confident communicator who can enforce quality standards
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team
