About the position
Our client in the Food & Beverage industry/ hospitality is seeking a qualified, hands-on Financial Manager (CA(SA)) to oversee the finance function across a growing multi-brand restaurant group. This is a pivotal role for a commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-branch environment and is eager to contribute to profitability and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full finance function, including reporting, budgeting, cashflow management, and internal controls.
- Prepare and manage multi-brand management accounts.
- Oversee supplier payments, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Partner closely with Operations and Procurement teams to identify efficiencies and drive profitability.
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Implement and maintain financial systems and processes to support growth.
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification (essential).
- 3-5 years post-articles experience, ideally within hospitality, retail, or FMCG.
- Strong technical accounting skills with proven ability to manage end-to-end finance.
- Experience with Xero, Lightspeed, and MarketMan systems preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to thrive in a multi-brand environment.
