CA(SA) - Finance & Treasury (Business Performance Focus) Minimum Requirements Apply We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established South African Development Finance Institution for a high-performing CA(SA) to join its Finance & Treasury team. This is a commercial, performance-focused role at the centre of financial insight, consolidated reporting, and strategic decision-making. It suits a finance professional who enjoys working closely with the business to improve performance, transparency, and cost discipline. Minimum Criteria (Essential) Applicants must meet the following to be considered: Qualified CA(SA) with completed audit articles Minimum 5 years post-articles experience in: Business partnering Management / performance reporting Financial analysis Strong IFRS knowledge Advanced Excel with proven financial modelling capability Hands-on SAP experience (SAP BI advantageous) Demonstrated commercial mindset and continuous improvement orientation Applicants who do not meet the above criteria will unfortunately not be considered. Role Overview Reporting into Finance & Treasury, the role focuses on translating financial data into actionable business insight while supporting cost recovery, planning, and governance. Key Responsibilities Deliver consolidated business performance reporting and insights Build, maintain, and enhance Group cost recovery and Activity-Based Costing models Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling Prepare EXCO and Board performance packs Partner with business units to identify risks, trends, and dependencies Drive process improvements, automation, and robust financial controls Support payments, compliance, audit processes, and SAP-based finance activities Why This Role This is a high-visibility finance role within a purpose-driven organisation, where finance plays a critical role in enabling sustainable economic development while maintaining strong commercial discipline.
