Finance Business Partner – Group
Location: Sandton
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Business Partner to join our team in Sandton. This strategic role requires a strong understanding of financial management, business partnering, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance across multiple entities within the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business units to provide real-time financial insights and strategic support.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Oversee accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Produce financial statements and coordinate regulatory reporting.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Manage intercompany loan reporting and related agreements.
- Provide input on VAT, Income Tax, and Companies Act compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments.
- Foster a collaborative environment that values diversity and inclusion.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, contributing to strategic decision-making.
Candidate Profile
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting or equivalent.
- Three to five years of experience in finance, investments, or a related field.
- Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
