About the position

Well-established company based on the East Rand seeks a Field Sales Specialist / Technical Sales Representative to join their team!
Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate or equivalent technical qualification
  • Technical/mechanical background advantageous
  • 3–5 years in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in mining, industrial, or engineering sectors.
  • Experience selling conveyors, technical or engineered products advantageous.
  • Valid Drivers License


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities; manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, provide technical guidance, and coordinate with technical teams for installations or troubleshooting.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities; report insights to management.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and post-trip reports; meet performance objectives.
