Our client is a well-established manufacturing business seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Factory Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and financial controls. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational and strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting.


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports within required timelines.
• Manage financial controls, fixed assets, stock, WIP, creditor reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Support internal and external audits, maintain compliance with IFRS and corporate governance requirements, and provide financial guidance to operational teams.

 
Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• BCom Degree in Accounting or related qualification.
• 3–5 years' experience in a similar Finance Manager or Factory Accountant role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Experience preparing and interpreting management accounts.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, and reconciliations.
• Manufacturing industry experience advantageous.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
