You're practical, reliable, and enjoy being the person others can count on to get things done. You take pride in keeping facilities secure and well maintained, while also having the confidence to deal with contractors and tenants as the site grows. If you like a mix of hands-on work, organising people, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be the role for you.
As Facilities Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of an industrial site that is being developed further in the coming months. You'll coordinate with security to ensure proper access control, liaise with contractors on small projects and upgrades, and handle general maintenance tasks directly or indirectly. You'll also manage inventory and storeroom operations, while carrying out basic health and safety checks such as fire equipment inspections and pest control. As new tenants move in, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth communication and keeping the site safe, organised, and compliant.
You'll be joining an organisation in the industrial and renewable energy sector. The site is part of an innovative operation that turns organic waste into useful products like energy and fertiliser, placing you at the heart of a forward-thinking industry. The company values reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach - making it a solid, supportive place to grow your skills while contributing to a project that's developing and expanding.
You'll have either a trade certification or at least five years' experience in a skilled trade, with proven ability to handle general maintenance. Physically capable of site-based work, you'll also need your own reliable transport and live within 25km of Sands Industria. Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with contractors and tenants will be important as the site develops further.
A permanent on-site role and salary of R216,000 - R240,000 per annum. Most importantly, you'll secure steady on-site work in a growing organisation where your role will expand as the site develops.
