About the position
A well-established public entity is seeking to appoint a ERP Systems Specialist
The incumbent will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ERP environment across all business units, ensuring system integrity, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant NQF 7 qualifications.
SQL certification, knowledge, and proven experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting and administering ERP systems.
Proven hands-on experience with Sage X3.
Demonstrated understanding of financial processes within the ERP environment.
Working exposure to Sage 300 (advantageous).
Project management experience (advantageous).
Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth functional knowledge of Sage X3 modules.
ERP configuration and workflow design.
SQL and database fundamentals.
ERP integration principles.
Functional requirements gathering.
Vendor and SLA management.
Internal controls and segregation of duties.
Governance and compliance awareness.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Stakeholder engagement and facilitation capability.
Documentation and training development.
