About the position

A Pretoria-based consulting engineering firm delivering multidisciplinary civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical projects is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor / Clerk of Works.
Requirements :

  • A National Diploma (NQF 6) in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in construction supervision and contract administration
  • Multidisciplinary project experience (civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical building services)
  • Knowledge of SANS 10400 National Building Regulations and building finishes
  • Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety and Construction Regulations 2014
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and ISO 45000 standards
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for reading and editing drawings
  • Experienced in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities
  • Code 08 driver’s licence
  • Willingness to travel to sites as required
